Regarding  the dos installation basically all I did was copy the dos
file 'install.bat' 'Mlinux.img' and the 'dos' directory to a directory
on my windows 95 hardisk. Rebooted the machine (not the win95 reboot to
dos option) using the F8 key to force the computer to start in msdos
mode then ran the install.bat file. I know that running msdos under
windows will not work as direct access to hardware is not possible, =
this
may the true when booting using the win95 option.
I may be better to have the install.bat carry out an error check to =
test
that the format completed successfully. If it fails the raw1722 still
copies the image file to floppy without generating any error message,
rebooting with the floppy causes the computer to hang after displaying
'LIL'

I have tried this install process using,
P2 300mhz - compaq deskpro
DX486 100mhz - home made
P75 - home made

The only problem I can see people having is that you need to be running
the latest winzip to be able to read .tgz it may be better to have a =
dos
..zip or the self extracting .exe
