I just found how to solve this and right now I am writing to you from mulinux. The trick is to disable the PnP mode in the card. There is a program to do this on the 3com web, so I took it and disabled PnP. Then I had to install non-PnP drivers for the Windows. There are no such drivers in the standard Win98, but I found them on the 3com web again. After disabling the PnP, 3com driver in Linux started OK. So, now it works.:-))) I don't know if you have FAQ, but it may be usefull to put some esplanation about PnP, because lot of people have these kind of network cards. Thank you for your nice Linux. It will be a perfect addition to my regular Debian box. --Julian Stoev
